Questions, answered

The things importers, forwarders and shippers ask us most, written out plainly so you know what to expect before you call.

How is warehouse storage priced in Miami?

By the pallet or by the square foot, weekly or monthly, plus handling in and out. Rather than post a number that turns out to be wrong for your cargo, we quote from what you are actually storing: how many pallets, how heavy and how long. The quote goes in writing and the invoice matches it.

Do you pull containers from the port?

Yes. Port drayage out of PortMiami and Port Everglades is one of our core services, and we run rail drayage from the ramps as well. Because the warehouse is part of the same operation, a box can be pulled, emptied and returned without a second company in the middle.

Do I need a long-term contract?

No. Storage starts by the week or the month, from a few pallets up. A good share of our work is seasonal overflow that comes and goes, and that is what the space is for.

How close are you to PortMiami?

The facility is in Hialeah Gardens, in Miami's industrial corridor: a short run from PortMiami and Port Everglades, close to the rail ramps and minutes from the airport's cargo side. That distance is money on every container.

What does TSA certified mean for my air freight?

It means we are approved to handle cargo destined for air transport, so your shipment can move on the road leg without leaving the secure chain and being screened again. If your forwarder needs the certification details on file, ask and we will send them.

Do you have a bonded warehouse?

No, and it is worth being precise about why that matters. A bonded warehouse is a customs-privileged facility where imported goods can sit before duty is paid, and ours is not one. If your cargo has to stay in bond, tell us early, because that changes who can hold it and who can move it. For everything already cleared, which is most freight, general warehousing is what you want and it is what we do.

What cargo do you not take?

Refrigerated, hazardous and bonded cargo, for now. We handle general dry freight, machinery, building materials and palletized goods. If your cargo is unusual, ask: if we cannot do it properly we will say so and point you to someone who can.

What are your receiving hours?

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and containers are received against a booked window so a driver is not waiting at the gate. If a shipment genuinely cannot land inside those hours, call and we will see what can be arranged.

Do you deliver, or do I need my own carrier?

Both work. Our own trucks deliver across Miami-Dade and Broward and run regional Florida lanes, including flatbed and piggyback forklift deliveries. If you route your own carrier, we load them on the schedule you set.

How do I know what inventory I have with you?

Everything is counted in and counted out, and the current number is yours for the asking on any working day. Releases happen only against your instruction.

Can you handle my whole import, port to door?

That is the point of the two sides being one company: the pull from the terminal, the devanning, the storage, the prep and the final delivery, under one phone number and one invoice. Tell us the booking and we will lay out the plan.

English or Spanish?

Both, at every step: the phone, the quote, the paperwork and the dock. Use whichever is comfortable and nothing gets lost in between.
