These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the agreement under which we store or move your freight: that agreement is the one described under “What actually governs your shipment” below.

What this site is

This is the public website of EB TRANSPORTATION SERVICE INC (“E.B. Transportation Service”). It describes the warehousing, freight handling and trucking services we offer and how to reach us. It is informational. There is nothing to sign up for here, nothing to buy here and no account to create here.

What actually governs your shipment

Nothing on this website is a contract, a rate confirmation or an offer capable of acceptance. Services are performed under the written rate quotation we give you, together with the warehouse receipt or storage agreement for stored goods and the bill of lading for freight in transit. Where anything on this site differs from those documents, those documents govern.

That is also where the terms that matter to your cargo live: rates and accessorial charges, free time and storage periods, liability limits and declared value, insurance, inspection and claim deadlines, and what happens to goods left unclaimed. Ask us for them before you ship rather than after, and we will send them.

Rates, timing and availability

Any price, turnaround or capacity mentioned on this site is a general description, not a quote. Rates depend on the cargo, the volume, the duration and the lane, and space depends on what is already in the building. A number is only binding when we have put it in writing for your specific shipment.

Cargo we do not accept

We handle general dry freight. We do not currently accept refrigerated, hazardous, bonded, perishable, live or illegal cargo, and we do not accept cargo you are not entitled to ship. Tell us what is actually inside before it arrives. Undeclared or misdescribed cargo can be refused at the dock, and anything that follows from a misdescription is on the party that made it.

Using this site

Read it, share it, quote it, print it. Do not scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, do not try to break into it, and do not copy its text or images to pass off as another company’s. The words, photographs and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission.

Accuracy

We keep this site current and honest, and we would rather leave a claim off than publish one we cannot stand behind. Even so, a page can be out of date between the day something changes and the day we update it. If a detail matters to a decision you are about to make, call and confirm it with a person.

Links to other sites

Where we link out, we are pointing at something useful, not vouching for it. What happens on someone else’s website is governed by their terms and their privacy policy.

The site itself

This website is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be reachable every minute or free of every error, and we are not liable for loss arising from the use of the website itself. Nothing in this paragraph limits our responsibilities for your freight, which are set by the documents named above and by applicable law.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Liability for cargo in interstate transportation is governed by federal law, and by the bill of lading, not by this page.

Changes

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when they last changed.
