Local delivery

The short moves that decide whether a shipment arrives on the day it was promised.

Local delivery: E.B. Transportation Service

Local delivery is where most freight actually fails: the long haul went fine and then nobody could get it the last twenty miles on the right day. We run that leg on our own trucks across Miami-Dade and Broward, picking up from docks, suppliers and terminals and delivering to warehouses, stores, job sites and customers.

Repeat lanes are a lot of what we do, and they should be scheduled rather than rebooked every week. Tell us the rhythm and we price it as a standing run, which is cheaper for you than a series of one-off trips and more reliable than hoping someone is available on Thursday.

What we run

  • Pickups and deliveries across Miami-Dade and Broward
  • Outbound loads from our warehouse to your customers
  • Supplier collections brought back to your dock
  • Standing weekly or daily runs for repeat freight
  • Time-sensitive moves that cannot wait on a broker

How we run a delivery

  • Quoted by the lane, in writing, before dispatch
  • A pickup window agreed and then kept
  • The driver tells you when something changes, not after
  • Proof of delivery back to you
  • Repeat lanes scheduled so you stop rebooking them

Common questions

How far do you go?

Miami-Dade and Broward are the everyday map, and our trucks run out across Florida when a load calls for it. Anything past the metro is quoted by the trip.

What if the delivery has no dock?

Then it probably wants our piggyback forklift, which rides on the truck and unloads where there is nothing to unload with. Say so when you book, because it changes the equipment we send.

Can you do a set schedule?

Yes, and you should ask for it if your freight is regular. A standing run is priced as a schedule rather than as separate trips.
